The Devil was sort of based on the 'ordinary man' from Ann Rice's Memnoch the Devil. The suit was bought at an op-shop with new lapels sewn on, as well as ribbons down the side of the pants, pocket details etc. The tie was hand painted The make-up was to represent a man with red skin who was trying to cover it up to appear like a normal man The red PVC wristbands worn by everyone belonged to The Devil and kept us all chained together and under control until The Devil saw fit to release us.
